Course content
This course enable you to apply scientific knowledge, mathematics and ingenuity to find solutions for technical, societal and commercial problems. On this comprehensive and varied course, you will acquire the essential competencies and engineering awareness for a successful career in electronics based industries.
You will develop your skills so that you can design systems while considering the limitations imposed by practicality, regulation, safety and cost.
The programme aims to emphasise analogue and digital circuit design, power electronics and electrical systems, control and microwave and millimetre wave technologies; areas with a major skills shortage worldwide and particularly in the UK.
The School has collaborations, partnerships, industrial placement schemes and public engagement programmes with organisations, including Vodafone, Google, IBM, BT, NASA, BBC and Microsoft.
The MSc can be studied either part-time (two years) or full-time (one year).
