Entry requirements
The typical entry requirement is a first degree in Medieval Studies, History or Literature or a relevant discipline, normally a lower second (average 55 per cent) or above or equivalent. Overseas students are expected to possess an IELTS score of 6.5.

Course content
The MA in History allows you to roam periods of history from the late antiquity to the renaissance, and geographies from the British Isles and France, to Italy and the Holy Land.
Teaching is empowered by specialist Swansea University expertise, particularly in the areas of gender, warfare, aristocratic culture, and frontiers and borderlands.
You have the chance to develop a formidable knowledge base about the medieval heritage of south Wales and the surrounding region.
