Entry requirements
We normally require a minimum of an upper second class Honours degree or equivalent in geography or a related field.
IELTS 6.5 (with a minimum of 6.0 in each component) or equivalent.

Course content
The MSc by Research in Global Environmental Modelling allows you to undertake a year long individual programme of personally and professionally enriching research. Your research project will be shaped by participation in global environmental modelling research activities such as seminars, workshops, laboratory activity and field work, as well as your involvement in one of our established research groups. While this research programme usually finishes after a year, it can be used to progress to the second year of a PhD degree in the appropriate circumstances. Swansea is a research-led University and our department makes a significant contribution.
