Course content

Studying Global Master of Business & Management at the UCA Business School for the Creative Industries will push you to the forefront of management in one of the UK’s most successful business sectors and within your chosen specialism.

The course will enable you to further develop your creative management skills business acumen which will support your professional development in your preferred creative industry. Your degree will be awarded with a specialism in either: Cosmetics and Beauty, Fashion Industry, Fine Art, Games Industry, Global Media Industries, Lifestyle Goods, Luxury Goods and Services, or Music Industry.

This one-year degree course will teach you high-level business content and will enable you to collaborate with other Creative Business postgraduate students. Your learning programme will highlight the specialised leadership challenges and opportunities of the creative industries ­– such as fashion, film and TV, animation, architecture or computer games – with a focus on creative business.

Every course within our Business School portfolio is taught with a global perspective, giving graduates the skill set required to pursue a creative business career anywhere in the world. Our teaching programmes are all project based, combining knowledge from both business and the creative industries in order to produce well-rounded, highly employable graduates with a highly-regarded qualification.

Our Global Master of Business & Management course is taught at UCA Epsom, home of UCA’s Business School for the Creative Industries.

Learning through seminars, tutorials and workshops, you will have the unique opportunity to work with MA Creative Marketing & Advertising students in your first term. You will use in-depth knowledge of the creative economy and how businesses operate to develop your professional working skills, both autonomously and collaboratively.

As you progress through the course you will explore the unique identity of international business practice and strategy specific to creative practices. We will encourage you to challenge preconceptions and highlight opportunities for professional business development within your own preferred subject area.

With the continuing support of UCA’s professional teaching staff, you will develop a final resolved creative business project related to your professional area of interest. Your work will relate directly to your career aspirations, so you will graduate with well-rounded creative business acumen and an internationally recognised qualification to enter your chosen profession at a high level.
