First or second class honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject. Or lower qualification with extended and responsible experience in a relevant field in industry, teaching or government establishment, or in some branch of medicine or medical science, together with authorship of scientific or medical papers.

Research in pharmaceutical and pharmacological sciences touches all aspects of the design and use of drugs and medicines.
These include drug discovery, formulation and delivery, neuroscience, regenerative medicine, immunology, infection and immunity, pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacy practice.
Study in these areas provides the chance to experience cutting edge research that is directly relevant to some of today’s major challenges in healthcare and the pharmaceutical industry.

Information for international students
Language requirement: IELTS 6.5 (at least 6.0 in each of the four components) or equivalent. Applicants narrowly missing this requirement may be eligible for a pre-sessional English course or a combined offer (to include a pre-sessional English course and master’s degree).
