Entry requirements

You should have at least a 2:1 in a subject with high mathematical or quantitative content. Such subjects include engineering, mathematics, economics and physics. We may consider other subjects if they have enough quantitative content.

Course content

This one-year Master's course is designed for ambitious graduates who want a career in finance or accounting. It is suitable for graduates who have little or no business experience, but your first degree must be in a subject with high mathematical or quantitative content.

You will receive a solid theoretical foundation in accounting and finance and develop an in-depth knowledge of the financial system. You’ll learn to analyse financial decisions and the motivations of people making them. You’ll apply this knowledge in a range of real-world scenarios. This course brings in expertise from the University’s departments of Mathematical Sciences and Economics.

Information for international students

  • IELTS: 6.5 overall. Your scores for listening, reading, writing and speaking must be at least 6.0
  • PTE Academic: 62 with no less than 59 in any component.

We also accept TOEFL, iBT, CPE and CAE.
