Course content

Develop a strong understanding of strategic management in a global context. This course prepares you for roles in multinational organisations and international business environments.

You’ll explore cross‑border investment, global strategy and the challenges faced by firms operating internationally. By applying the latest theory to real business issues, you’ll build practical, transferable skills needed for a career in international management.

For the summer, you can choose from three pathways:

  • explore an international management issue through an individual research project
  • work with one of our partner organisations to solve a real business challenge
  • do an internship to demonstrate your knowledge of international management

Internships are not guaranteed. Places are competitive and we advertise opportunities to students.

Key benefits

  • Apply theory to real business challenges through a practice‑based dissertation alternative
  • Prepare for a wide range of careers. Recent graduates entered roles in consulting, marketing, operations, finance and more
