Course content

This course will equip you with an understanding of how microbes are used on an industrial scale. It will give you an advanced understanding of molecular and computational biology together with knowledge of microbiological techniques at the forefront of technology, equipping you for a future in biotechnology or allied industries. The data analytics units cover a range of topics including programming, databases, security, project management and computer networking, giving you both the underpinning theory and ability to apply it to complex real-world problems, as well as an awareness of emerging technologies and developments.
