Aquatic Environments MRes provides an opportunity to contribute to exciting and impactful research in aquatic environmental sciences, as you build your theoretical and practical research knowledge and skills.
Through interdisciplinary collaboration within geosciences, ecology, geography and engineering you can explore areas of aquatic science that focus on issues including environmental pollution, climate change, public health and water quality.
You’ll join a team of Brighton researchers who advise and collaborate with regional, national and international organisations, providing scientific evidence and people-focused solutions to help protect the environment.
You’ll work on a dedicated research project, making full use of our specialist facilities, under the supervision of an academic member of staff who specialises in your area of research. You’ll be linked to our research Centre of Aquatic Environments, and the Centre for Earth Observation Science.
