Course content

This two-year, part-time Master’s programme is designed for those who wish to study at postgraduate level and are keen to develop high-level skills in the writing of poetry, fiction and creative non-fiction.

You will be guided in the production of creative work in a wide range of genres and styles, and also in critical reflection on your own work and that of other writers, before specialising in one chosen genre. The course tutors and guest speakers are all established literary professionals.

The MSt is taught over two years in short, intensive study blocks. It has been designed to be accessible to those in full- or part-time employment and to international students.

Successful applicants will become members of a Cambridge College and will join the wider graduate community, with full access to the facilities of the University.

Information for international students
