Applicants should hold a 2:2 degree or equivalent in a related field.
Non-standard applications will be considered on their merits and if they have relevant business work or life experience and who can demonstrate the ability to cope with and benefit from master's-level studies.
A detailed admissions procedure will be forwarded on application.
Applicants will be assessed through interview.
IELTS: Score of at least 6.5 or equivalent.

Learning and assessment

The online learning environment is based on an online platform, where you can connect and attend sessions from anywhere in the world. The online platform is ideal to deliver both lectures and interactive workshops, providing opportunity for you to listen to lectures and engage in discussions. There is one live interactive workshop per module per week and it takes place 6-7pm (UK time).

During the course you will be exposed to a range of teaching and learning strategies.

The overall assessment strategy for the programme is 100% coursework. There are no exams. The course will deliver modules in Developing Postgraduate Study and Learning, Digital Communications, Social Media Marketing & SEO, Digital Strategy, Contemporary issues in Digital Marketing, and Research methods for the Digital World.

The modules will be assessed using variety of assessment methods. These will range from projects, reports, portfolio and presentations. Learning is further supported by the University Library and other student resources.

For the final semester of the course you will have a choice of either a research dissertation or project. The research dissertation assesses how well learners can use cognitive and intellectual skills and complete a rigorous research study. The project is usually based in a company where the student is employed. During the project you can apply the knowledge/skills gained in the course both strategically and tactically.
