2:2 Hons degree in Engineering that includes study in Electrical/Electronics and Programming

For applicants whose first language is not English - IELTS 6.5 with no component score less than 6.0 to have been taken within two years prior to the course start date is required

Looking for new challenges in your career? Study MSc Electrical and Electronic Engineering and learn how to enhance the operation of modern 'Industry 5.0' systems.
On the course you'll engage with new technologies such as physical network security, and intelligent power grid.
Learn up-to-date skills in electronic and electrical system design. Examples include:
  • Real-time operating system design with modern microcontrollers
  • Intelligent digital system design and implementation on FPGA
  • Electrical machine interfacing, monitoring and control.
You'll also study Internet of Things, modern communications and security technologies which will support the implementation of AI at ‘the edge’.

Information for international students

Students whose first language is not English will be required to demonstrate competence in the language. The normal minimum standard required is IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
