Intrigued by financial criminal behaviour? On our Financial Investigation course you’ll learn from a team of experts and rapidly enhance your personal and professional development in a single year.

This programme is also available as an online distance learning course, which provides high quality learning and teaching combined with flexible study.

Our team are experts in: conducting and leading financial investigations, presenting evidence in court, teaching and training in the field and advising governments on financial investigation policy.

Course modules include: research skills, global perspectives on financial investigation, ethics and accountability, money laundering, complex case management, discovery and recovery of assets, and a research project for your dissertation.

Learning and assessment

Our learning objective is to equip you with the knowledge and practical skills to operate as a financial investigator in law enforcement or compliance arenas.

We’ll develop your critical thinking skills in the investigation of financial crime, and your analytical skills when it comes to the principles, practices and techniques of investigation in financial crime cases.

We’ll develop your competence in research methods and the presentation of information.

We’ll develop your skills in solving complex problems, both independently and as a team member. You’ll come away with the confidence to make decisions in financial crime investigations.
