The MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) provides your first step towards a rewarding career in English language teaching. It is an exciting opportunity to enter the field of TESOL with no teaching experience.
This course is designed for people who are new to the world of TESOL. There is no teaching experience required. If you have plenty of enthusiasm for languages and an interest in teaching English as a second language, then this course is for you.
During the year-long course you can complete a Trinity Certificate in TESOL alongside the MA. This means that you graduate with both a master’s degree and a globally recognised practical teaching qualification. These qualifications can lead to amazing job opportunities around the world.
You’ll learn about theories of language learning and teaching. You will also gain practical skills and experience by taking part in teaching practice with real learners of English from many different backgrounds.
