Entry requirements

Minimum of a lower second class honours degree (2:2) in any discipline, or equivalent. A minimum of two years work experience in a business related position, normally at supervisory level. For those with limited work experience, it is possible to enter the programme after completing an intensive three week 'Bridging Programme' in Chester and then joining a dedicated cohort.

The programme is designed to provide aspiring managers and those wishing to accelerate their management careers with the knowledge and capability to think and work strategically as well as acquire the softer skills essential to succeed as a leader of people and change.

Stage 1: Leadership Learning and Continuous Professional Development; Marketing Across Boundaries; Finance for Managers.

Stage 2: Leading and Managing People; Strategic Management; Employment Dynamics (optional); International Business Strategy (optional); International Marketing (optional); Strategic Issues for E-Business (optional); Manging in the Service Economy (optional); Creative Thinking and Problem-solving for Managers (optional); Managing Excellence in Processes & Projects (optional); Virtual and E-Organisation Strategies (optional); Managing and Exploiting Intellectual Capital and Knowledge (optional).

Stage 3: Preparing for Research; Management Project.
