Entry requirements

Applicants should normally hold a Bachelor's degree, 2:2 or higher, in an area broadly related to Education / Mental Health, trauma or attachment.
Those with a degree in a different area or non-traditional qualifications but with experience of working in a setting with children, young people or adults with mental health, trauma and attachment difficulties will also be considered.

Our academic team brings a diverse range of professional experiences, including classroom practitioners, senior leaders, Special Educational Needs Coordinators (SENCOs), and Local Authority advisors. Many are actively involved in partnership projects supporting the development of trauma-informed practices, collaborating with Local Authorities (Early Help and Education) and Virtual Schools.

This ensures your learning is not only grounded in research and policy, but also shaped by inclusive, real-world applications that reflect the experiences of diverse individuals.
