Course content

This certificate is specifically designed to support individuals, schools or local authorities who are interested in working on programmes or professional learning activities geared to promoting Growth Mindsets.

The PGCiPP offers individuals, individual schools or groups of schools the opportunity to investigate, by means of practitioner research, a bespoke school-based focus. The focus of this PGCiPP is to explore the research and evidence base surrounding mindsets in order to foster a growth mindset culture within your classroom, work environment or school.

Participants will be asked to engage in their own action research focused on developing practical strategies for creating growth mindsets, identifying and overcoming barriers that could hinder the development of growth mindsets and finally evaluating the impact of such work.

Delivery takes the form of taught and facilitated sessions over an 8 month period commencing Tuesday 3rd October 2017. Each session will focus on a different aspect of the underpinning research and practical strategies related to growth mindset theories.
