Entry requirements

Applicants for the MSc in Pharmacy Practice should be registered Pharmacists in the UK with the General Pharmaceutical Council. Applicants must have a practice site and work-based tutor recognised by the University of Hertfordshire (transferrable within the JPB collaborative subject to approval). Please note the minimum level criteria for those wishing to undertake the Independent Prescribing for Pharmacists module.

Course content

This career-focused course follows the Royal Pharmaceutical Society’s Foundation Pharmacy Framework (FPF). The Pharmacist Independent Prescribing module is accredited by the General Pharmaceutical Council. Students on the programme experience clinical and therapeutic study within our internationally renowned simulation suite and teaching facilities, including Europe's largest medical simulation laboratory.

Fees and funding

Funding is available from Health Education England. In addition, University of Hertfordshire students are eligible for a 20% discount on Postgraduate Study.
