Course content

Our broadening of expertise and reputation was reflected by the QS World University Subject Rankings 2019, where the University of Huddersfield was 25th in the world for 'Performing Arts'.

A Master's by Research (MA) allows you to undertake a one year (full time) research degree with little or no formal taught component.Guided by a supervisor, you'll work independently on an agreed project of your choosing.

The MA by Research provides greater flexibility and independence than a taught course, encourages interdisciplinary and multi-dimensional approaches, and is an ideal pathway towards PhD study.
