Entry requirements

•2:1 degree from a British University or its equivalent; or a postgraduate diploma from a recognised institution; or relevant graduate level professional qualification. •Or a demonstration of considerable relevant practical experience and evidence of the ability to cope with the demands of the course. When English is not the first language, the successful applicant must have either IELTS 6.5; or TOEFL 575 (Paper) plus TWE 4.0, 90 (IBT); or the University of Leicester English Language Test.

Course content

The MSc in Management combines a comprehensive grounding in the functions of management with a critical analysis of the context in which managers work. You will develop a critical understanding of the economic, social and political environments which affect organisational life.

The course features a combination of core and option modules which allow you to focus on areas of interest that relate to your professional needs. You will develop an understanding of the main theories, models, frameworks, and techniques of management and have the scope to focus on specialist areas including comparative industrial relations, corporate governance, international human resources management, managing information: technology and systems, knowledge management and managing diversity.
