Course content

Are you a doctor, dentist or other healthcare professional seeking to develop your role as a teacher, trainer, supervisor or mentor? This programme builds your confidence and competence and develops your research skills. Also available to study full-time over one year, or part-time over three years, you will be supported in applying new knowledge and skills to your current or future professional role.

On this programme, you collaborate with colleagues from a range of healthcare professions, sharing your experiences and advancing your knowledge of teaching, learning and assessment. Whichever pathway you choose, full- or part-time, assessments enable you to develop your educational practice and interests, whatever your individual context and role. Also available to study part-time online, or as a full-time programme for intercalating students.

The Masters in Clinical Education Programme (MClinEd) is designed primarily for clinicians and others involved in clinical education to develop their knowledge and skills as teachers, trainers, educational scholars, leaders and managers.
