Entry requirements

Undergraduate degree (2:2) or equivalent. IELTS 6.5 minimum, with 6 in each component.

Candidates must be working part-time or full-time in a school to be able to complete the assessment. Candidates must also have access to a school-based mentor who can support their developing practice.

Course content

The Roehampton iPGCE allows you to develop powerful insights as a global teacher into your own pedagogy and practice within national and international contexts. The course explores how curricula are designed and implemented across different educational settings, supporting you to reflect critically on your teaching and develop evidence-based approaches to learning and instruction.

Delivered through flexible distance learning, the programme combines independent study, online collaboration, and mentor-supported reflection within your school setting. It is designed for teachers currently working in schools who want to deepen their professional knowledge and enhance their practice in international or diverse educational environments.
