Course content
The MSc Psychology (Conversion) Distance Learning programme provides a comprehensive introduction to the scientific study of the human mind and behaviour. Designed for graduates without a previous psychology degree, the course develops core knowledge across key areas of psychology including cognitive, biological, developmental and social psychology, alongside research methods and data analysis.
Delivered fully online, the programme combines self-paced digital learning with live interactive evening sessions, allowing you to balance study with work and other commitments. Through lectures, seminars, practical exercises and independent research, you will develop critical thinking, psychological literacy, and professional communication skills.
The programme is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and provides the academic foundation for Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC), the first step toward becoming a chartered psychologist. Graduates will be prepared to progress into further professional training or apply psychological knowledge across sectors such as healthcare, education, business and public services.
