Entry requirements

Normally a minimum 2:2 honours degree or equivalent or successful completion of the Graduate Certificate International Management. A wide range of professional qualifications are also accepted either in partial or complete fulfilment of entry requirements. Where a student has gained a recognised Honours degree but does not meet the normal entry qualification requirement, they may still be considered for entry if they can demonstrate relevant work experience of a minimum 2 years duration post study and acceptable level of responsibility.

This course provides the opportunity to develop and demonstrate your understanding of international event management. This is achieved in a variety of classroom-based and field-based work, providing you with the opportunity to analyse and evaluate your current competences and develop long-term strategies.

You will be taught by specialists from the fields of events management, strategic international business management, operations and information management, and project management and procurement.

A variety of teaching, learning and assessment methods are employed and you will participate in a variety of tasks as an individual and as part of a group. You are able to choose your own focus and tailor this course to suit your own interests.

Normally IELTS 6.5 with no individual element below 5.5, or equivalent recognised Secure English Language Test, (SELT).
