Course content
This ESRC-recognised research training programme will provide you with a thorough knowledge and understanding of the concepts, tools and methods of modern economics and their application to the analysis of economic problems. We will give you the training necessary for a career as an economist in the public or private sector or to undertake independent research.

Information for international students
For applicants whose first language is not English, the IELTS requirement is 6.5 overall, with minimum 5.5 in reading, writing, listening and speaking. For information on other accepted English language tests, please see the website.
