Course content
Our PhD programme provides access to state-of-the art facilities and allows you to be part of the cutting-edge, world-leading research taking place in computer science, software engineering and web science. You’ll be supported to carry out excellent scientific research on projects that directly benefit industry, the economy and society. We encourage our PhD students to develop a broad range of skills through a lively research environment, participation at national and international conferences, and publication in leading specialist journals. Our staff include researchers and educators covering all aspects of electronics, electrical engineering and computer science.
Information for international students
If English is not your first language, you will need to demonstrate your English meets our Band C: For IELTS, this is 6.5 overall, with minimum 6.0 in all components. For information on other accepted English language tests, please see the website.
