Social, technological and environmental change is forcing us to rethink how we live, consume resources, and manage issues like climate, globalisation, and demographic change. The world needs experts who can advise large organisations on environmental challenges and opportunities.
Your future career
This master’s degree will give you in-depth knowledge of a variety of topics, including sustainability and environmental law. We’ll teach you to evaluate challenges in the field using data analysis methods and analytical skills. On completion of the programme, you’ll be ready for a wide range of careers in and around the environmental consultancy sector.

Our Partnership Projects initiative gives students the chance to complete a Policy, Practice, or Industry dissertation in collaboration with an external partner organisation, working on a real brief defined by the partner. Projects range from ecological field studies, to social research into community sustainability initiatives, to identifying new locations for environmental and social charity initiatives, with students producing research that addresses real‑world challenges and supports meaningful change.
