Entry requirements

A UK bachelor's degree with upper second class honours or higher (or equivalent overseas qualification approved by the University) in a subject with some element of quantitative study such as maths, physical sciences, economics, finance, engineering, computer science or similar. Applicants with relevant work experience are encouraged to apply.

Prepare for the growing market in sustainable business and finance practices. Our brand new MSc Sustainable Finance programme focuses on understanding how environmental and social changes impact the global finance industry.

The course will prepare you to solve issues in investments, financial markets, and business practices. You'll build in-depth knowledge towards the field of sustainable finance, and enhance your networking and career through our industry connections.
A degree in sustainable finance will give you the experience to work on sustainable solutions across sectors, opening diverse career opportunities. The course also has collaboration with our research centres: Centre for Empirical Research in Finance and Banking (CERFIB) research centre and Sustainability and Resilience Institute (SRI).

Information for international students

IELTS language requirements: 6.5 overall, with minimum 6.5 in reading and writing and 6.0 in listening and speaking. For information on other accepted English language tests, please see the website.
