Course content
MA Global Advertising and Branding at Winchester School of Art is ideal if you want to oversee the advertising process or brand strategy at a creative agency or client company. Discover how brands are created, marketed, managed and sustained in an evolving global economy. You’ll develop in-depth knowledge of the global advertising and branding industry and essential practical skills, including how to make a pitch, identify a target audience, build a strategy and evaluate a campaign.
You’ll learn from academics who are active in research and have a wealth of experience and connections in the sector. We put a strong emphasis on employability throughout, to make sure you graduate with both professional and academic skills. You’ll enhance your professional skills and develop your networks by working on a live consultancy project or simulation, giving you invaluable experience of industry practices. You can also take advantage of our close proximity to London, home to some of the UK’s most prestigious brands.
Graduates can follow a wide range of career paths including account management, marketing, brand management, media buying, event planning, market research, advertising and PR.
Information for international students
International and EU students applying for this programme are required to have a minimum IELTS score of Band 2C, 6.5 overall with a minimum of 6.0 in all components prior to starting the programme.
