Course content

The MSc TESOL and Intercultural Communication degree represents an innovative collaboration between the schools of Education and Humanities. The course is designed for students intending to pursue a career in teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL), and those who are currently working in this field but wish to enhance their professional knowledge and skills, and improve their career prospects.

This course will equip students with a better understanding of languages education, and of language use and communication in intercultural contexts. It will also introduce them to the key issues relating to language pedagogy, and provide them with opportunities to develop theoretical knowledge and practical skills for careers concerned with language learning and teaching and also appropriately communicating in a linguistically diverse world.
