Course content

PGCE Business Education has been designed to train teachers to practise as a subject specialist teacher of 11-16 year olds. You are assessed against the standards for Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) across this age range. This course will also cover vocational qualifications such as BTEC. This one-year course blends theoretical knowledge with carefully supervised teaching experience. You will attend placements in a variety of educational settings to gain a broad understanding of the realities of secondary level teaching.
