Course content

The globalised business world is ever changing and challenging. On this course, you’ll develop an understanding of how globalisation shapes business decisions. You’ll gain the confidence to manage organisations and make reliable decisions in an international context.

On this MSc, you’ll:

  • learn about the economic, cultural, legal and political differences in the international business environment
  • study critical business processes and managerial functions such as accounting and marketing
  • explore socially responsible and sustainable management practices and why they are essential for businesses to succeed
  • gain skills in qualitative and quantitative research methods, and apply them in your own research projects.

You have the opportunity to tailor your degree to your interests. Options you can choose from range from international marketing, to globalisation and integration, to international human resource management, and to innovation for sustainability.

You’re taught by lecturers, together with internationally recognised researchers whose expertise informs their teaching. Some of our lecturers have worked in industry and bring real-world experience into the learning environment. We combine research- and practice-based learning, giving you the opportunity to develop essential skills, knowledge and expertise for a successful career.
