Entry requirements
This course is designed for applicants from employability- and/or career-related roles in HE, be it focused on design, delivery or strategy. You may be working in an academic, student employability and experience, or careers role. Applicants must be able to produce written work of a good standard.
The University's standard entrance requirement is an undergraduate degree graded at 2:2 in any discipline*. Equivalent professional qualifications can also be considered.

The Employability and Career Education: Strategy and Inclusive Design Postgraduate Award from the Career Education, Information and Guidance in HE suite of courses enables you to develop confident and creative practice in shaping career and employability-related education in the HE sector both in the curriculum, co-curricular or in other related places. It is made up of just one module which is described further below and has more accessible entry requirements.
This course equips you to confidently and creatively shape career and employability-related education in HE. It focuses on strategically optimising opportunities to develop employability and builds capacity for creative and inclusive design through exploring a range of educational and learning approaches, including assessment and evaluation. It is an ideal course for those staff in HE who are working to improve student employability, whether they are involved in design, delivery or strategy. Ideal for those working in an academic, student employability and experience, or career-related role.
