Areas for PhD supervision:
Cultural Memory across the Hispanic World; Modern and Contemporary Hispanic and Portuguese Literatures and Cultures; 19th- Century Spanish Literature and Culture and its Relations to Colonialism; Regional Spanish Cultures, especially Galicia; The Caribbean, especially intersections between Hispanophone, Anglophone and Francophone cultures; Diaspora, Cultural Identity and Cultural Exchange; Digital Approaches to Humanities Research; Aspects of Hispanic Visual and Musical Cultures; Spanish and Latin American cinema; sound in cinema; sixteenth- and seventeenth-century Spanish literature and culture; Classical and Italian influences on the Spanish Golden Age.
