This course has been designed for graduates from any degree background who want to become a nurse. The course will prepare you to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as an adult or mental health nurse.
This course will prepare you to become a caring, compassionate, safe and autonomous practitioner, who can deliver high quality nursing care in a variety of settings and situations, while promoting the wellbeing of the communities you will work in. The course reflects the changing national, local and social agendas which underpin healthcare provision in Britain today.
On successful completion, you will become a registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Mental health nurse.
You will learn to become a professional nurse, able to work with and lead teams within agreed professional, ethical and legal frameworks and processes, and be able to maintain and improve standards of care. Your care will reflect contemporary knowledge, practice, research and technology.
