Course content
Gain a deeper understanding of how various state and non-state actors view global issues. Develop an advanced comprehension of contemporary international events, their causes and repercussions. You'll engage with diverse theoretical perspectives on issues from Europe and Asia to Africa and Latin America. You'll learn how global politics and security challenges are perceived, responded to and shaped in various regions.
Examine the real world impact of international politics. You'll engage with theoretical debates and analyse how they resonate in different contexts. In doing so, you'll learn to examine and address specific global questions. This will involve interrogating the latest research via debate and discussion.
Be supported by internationally-renowned experts from around the world. You'll engage with their regional expertise in the European Union, the United States, Latin America and Africa. Their research informs their teaching. With their support, you'll develop your ability to think critically about regional, national and international politics, ideas and institutions.
