Either a 2.1 Honours degree or a Masters degree with a distinction in the research dissertation, in computing or a related subject. Applicants with appropriate professional experience are also considered. Degree-level mathematics (or equivalent) is required for research in some project areas.

- Several laboratories support these interests, including one for human factors technology (which has a real-time 3D video capture system and motion capture systems), another for solid modelling (which houses 3D laser scanners and 3D displays) and a third for visual computing (which has a range of image capture and processing systems and haptic devices).
- Each laboratory represents a significant investment that, in turn, contributes to the success of the group’s research.

Information for international students
Applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate proficiency in the language. Minimum requirements of 6.5 IELTS overall with a minimum of 6.5 in writing, and a minimum of 6.0 in speaking, listening and reading.
