Entry requirements

We welcome applications from talented candidates of all backgrounds and each application is considered on its individual merit. Usually candidates must hold either a:

  • first or a second class UK honours degree in a relevant discipline, or
  • international degree - equivalent of UK qualifications

Candidates who do not meet these criteria may be considered if they have a professional qualification together with 5 years' relevant work experience.

Course content

Our Procurement and Supply Chain Management MSc builds upon our world-renowned Logistics and Supply Chain Management MSc. This purchasing postgraduate course has been co-designed with senior procurement and supply chain professionals. It will provide you with the specialist knowledge and skills in procurement and supply chain management that you need to further your career in this sector.

· You will gain an in-depth understanding of: supply chain strategy and sustainability; procurement strategy; supplier selection and evaluation; negotiation and contract management; how to analyse and design effective supply chain operations; how to use data, models and software to solve problems and inform decisions; inventory and operations management; accounting; freight transport and project management.

· You will have the opportunity to attend a study tour and experience a supply chain perspective in a different economic region in Europe.

· You will also have the opportunity to participate in other course activities including warehouse visits and simulation games.

· You will have the opportunity to study within a truly international environment, with students and academics coming from over 50 countries.
