Entry requirements

The International MBA is aimed at those who already have significant work experience and yet still wish to improve their skills and pursue a successful post‐MBA career in companies operating at an international level. The International MBA is aimed at graduates with at least 3 years of full time and post-graduate work experience. They are committed and open-minded while demonstrating substantial potential for leadership and excellence.

The program is open to candidates with a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with strong academic performance and a good command of English (IELTS 6.5, TOEFL IBT 85, TOEIC 850). Students with 6.0 IELTS may also be eligible for admission after successful interview with our overseas offices. Native English speakers or students who have had three years of courses taught in English are exempt.

No prior knowledge of French is needed; however French language classes are mandatory for non-French speakers as part of the program.

A GMAT score is a plus, not mandatory.

Course content

The International MBA is a one year program completely taught in English aimed at young managers with the potential of being global business leaders.

The program equips participants with an in-depth understanding of the European business context and build the skills necessary to excel in complex international settings in top management positions or to start their own companies.

The International MBA program design combines theoretical understanding with practical experience and skill development. Thus, through the curriculum, participants acquire essential knowledge in management together with the ability to apply it in concrete business situations.

IÉSEG international MBA is accredited by AMBA

The IMBA program meets the requirement of a global MBA program and is designed to able participants to apply knowledge in different contexts and situations.

The program is offered on a full-time basis and consists of 2 consecutive semesters of courses (September – May) followed by a professional experience (from June onwards). The curriculum provides a strong foundation of theoretical knowledge, business and leadership competencies.

Throughout the program, the faculty adopts a thorough and practical approach using cases and real-life examples to apply concepts to solve business issues. Participants are required to work on cases and/or group projects for each course to develop essential skills to face challenging situations and imagine new solutions. Faculty members foster interactions in the classroom – participants learn from each other’s experiences and are trained to develop and defend their opinions.

Participants also benefit from a personalized coaching and career development program.

Information for international students

The choice to study abroad is not only an academic decision, but also a financial one. Students need to be aware of the various cost involved in pursuing a postgraduate’s degree at IÉSEG.

All international students are encouraged to check with Campus France and their own government to see if there are any scholarships available. For American students please check with Sallie Mae for private loan options

Fees and funding

€26,000 for domestic and international students.

Unlike some other countries where international students pay a much higher tuition than domestic students, there is NO difference between tuition for French and international students at IÉSEG.

IÉSEG has a merit-based International Scholarship Program up to 50% tuition waiver per year. If one of the following categories applies to you, you will automatically be granted the corresponding scholarship in form of tuition waiver.

• An applicant can combine any of the scholarships received up to a maximum of 50% tuition reduction.
• All admitted applicants will be considered for scholarship automatically. There is no separate scholarship application.
• Decisions are made by the admissions jury during admission commission.
• These scholarships can be compiled up to 50% at the maximum.
