Course content

Have you got your sights set on the entrepreneurial and innovation side of business? Join our MSc Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management to develop the mindset, tools and knowledge you’ll need in the world of start-ups and scale-ups.

Today’s business environment is evolving rapidly. Large firms need skilled innovators to help them retain customers and grow in new directions, while start-ups need ambitious, sector-savvy and risk-aware critical thinkers to lead them forward.

On this programme, you’ll study the cornerstones of innovation management and entrepreneurship, and other key topics like funding, market analysis and research. There are optional modules too, spanning areas like new venture creation, intellectual property and family businesses.

Match it to your aspirations, whether that’s setting up your own venture or helping established enterprises innovate and evolve.

Stretch your skills in real-world scenarios

The course is practice oriented, and you’ll learn with a diverse cohort through case studies, simulations and workshops. Gamified group activities give you a chance to test your decision-making skills in the context of external shocks and events, all while becoming an effective team player.

Taught by Loughborough London’s leading academics, the content is regularly refreshed to reflect new and emerging trends and developments. You’ll hear from industry specialists, too, who bring insights from high-profile organisations like Cisco, Haydale Ltd and GenieMo.

East London is a high-tech creative hub of thousands of start-ups and a can-do culture. You’ll be in the ideal place to grow your network, share prototypes and find people who share your goals and passion. It’s ripe with opportunities for your collaborative dissertation and the optional collaborative project and start-up accelerator.

The launchpad for your entrepreneurial career

This master’s will give you a critical and deep understanding of the complexities of the entrepreneurial and innovation processes, as an individual and as an organisation. So you can make an impact from the word go.

You’ll graduate ready for senior management, innovation or strategy roles in business, or to start your own venture in today’s dynamic marketplace.
