Our MSc Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management programme gives you the opportunity to explore and reflect on what it takes to achieve, sustain and grow a business.
Entrepreneurial behaviour is a key competency required by a growing number of employers. Our MSc Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management programme will provide you with a robust understanding of the innovation process.
This programme will give you an in-depth understanding of the importance of an entrepreneurial attitude and opportunity recognition. You will also be equipped with the key skills and competencies required to respond quickly and take action, so that you will be well placed to succeed in today’s marketplace.
Not only will you acquire the skills and knowledge required to set up your own venture, but you will develop a critical and deep understanding of what it means to be entrepreneurial and innovative, both as an individual and as an organisation. You will analyse and evaluate problems using a variety of tools and will develop a deeper understanding of the complexities of the innovation process.
Some of the research interests in the Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship feed directly into the curriculum. These include findings and trends relating to family businesses, venture capital and private equity, digital entrepreneurial activity, social network analysis, social entrepreneurship, governance and executive compensation, and crowdfunding.
