How can sports organisations use various types of data, from sport performance to digital media and ticketing to make better business decisions? How can new technologies and data analysis tools help teams, leagues and brands connect with fans, improve performance and gain a competitive edge?

Sharpen your analytical and digital skills using real-world data

This course is highly practical and collaborative. You’ll work with datasets from major sport organisation such as the English Premier League (EPL), the National Football League (NFL), and Indian Premier League (IPL), applying analytical methods and intelligent technologies to real-world problems in sport.

You’ll learn to use software programmes like Python, R, and Microsoft Power BI, apply advanced statistical techniques, and work with various Machine Learning models and other essential tools while studying topics such as predictive analytics, visual storytelling, data strategy and applied algorithmic design. You’ll also develop the skills to communicate data-driven insights to stakeholders across sport, business and media.
