Entry requirements

A UK honours degree (minimum 2.1) or equivalent in a related discipline such as Computer Science or ICT. Applications are also invited from mature students with non-traditional qualifications. You will be asked to submit a research proposal as part of your application.

Course content

The MRes Computer Science course incorporates a Research Methods module designed to develop knowledge, skills and experience that will provide students with a firm foundation for carrying out a major research project. Students have an opportunity to study two further modules in order to develop specific technical knowledge related to their research project.

Other related courses within the School of Science and Technology include: MRes Electronic Systems or the MSc Computer Science.
