Entry requirements

Typical minimum entry requirements include a degree in music. Candidates who have a degree but not in music need to have significant practical experience in music. All candidates are required to attend an audition to demonstrate that they have a satisfactory standard for entry.

Course content

The Historical Performance programme is available as a Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) and MMus over two years, full time, and in exceptional cases a one year intensive programme is available. Further course information can be found at: www.rwcmd.ac.uk/studyhere

Information for international students

The College regularly holds auditions in Asia and North America and, in some cases, it may be able to accept auditions recordings on DVD from applicants who are unable to attend an audition in person. www.rwcmd.ac.uk/international
