Entry requirements

At least 2:2 UK Hons degree or equivalent in any discipline. Provide evidence of satisfactory English language skills for candidates where English is not their first language, such as: IELTS overall score of 6.0 or above (which should include a minimum score of 5.5 for the speaking, writing and listening modules); TOEFL overall score of 87 or above; or Pearsons overall score of 51 or above. A booster pre-Masters English Language course is available. An overall assessment of an applicants' educational background, experience and potential to benefit from the scheme will be made when considering the suitability of a candidate for our MBA programmes. The Business School aims to achieve a mix of student backgrounds which will enhance the learning experience for all. This means that it is no longer necessary for applicants to have a minimum of two years career history, although experience will be beneficial to support their application. Applicants must demonstrate an appropriate level of qualification and aptitude, and their potential to benefit from the course.

Course content

Develop your management and leadership competencies.

Experience a combined theory and practice course focussing on real and contemporary business issues.

Added value ‘Events’ and ‘Career Advisory’ programmes presenting both networking and career planning opportunities.

This MBA is flexible, allowing you to tailor your course of study. You can choose up to three option modules from a wide variety of business related topics.

Core topics focus on contemporary aspects of both leadership and management, such as:

  • strategic and human resource management
  • strategic marketing
  • aspects of performance
  • financial risk management.

Option modules allow exploration of core topics in greater depth. These could include topics such as:

  • international aspects of human resource management
  • innovations in marketing
  • wider financial concepts.

There is also the opportunity to study the dynamics of:

  • change leadership
  • project management
  • international supply chain management.

and topics such as:

  • the international dimension of the global economy
  • entrepreneurship and business law
  • psychology in business.
