Entry requirements

We welcome students holding the following qualifications: 2:2 degree or above in Law or those holding a Graduate Diploma in Law. Degrees must be a qualifying law degree as specified by the SRA. Students without a 2:2 degree or above may still be considered subject to satisfactory interview. If English is not your first language you will need an acceptable pass in an approved English Language qualification such as the IELTS test (with a score of at least 6.5 and 6.0 in each component) or equivalent.

Course content

The LLM in Legal Practice and Advanced Drafting combines the Swansea Legal Practice (LPC) course with an independent learning module, to enhance essential legal skills.

The LPC is a professional practice course that develops the essential skills and confidence for a successful career in law in England and Wales. Adding this extra module, to upgrade the qualification to an LLM, enables students to evidence enhanced skills to a potential or existing employer for a career start or progression.
