Students must attain a 2:2 (or overseas equivalent) in an undergraduate degree. Any degree subject will be considered.

We consider all applications on their merits and will look at each individual case before making an offer, so students who fall slightly short of the entry criteria should still apply.

Why Accounting and Finance at Swansea?

The MSc Accounting and Finance programme is a full conversion course that may be completed in a single year. It is designed for applicants with no existing experience in accounting, finance or business.

You will be taught by our world-class faculty, who have widespread industrial and academic knowledge, based in the sector-leading £22million School of Management, located on our coastal Bay Campus. Our facilities boast dedicated teaching space and study areas, and extensive IT facilities equipped with the latest hardware and specialist software.

The School of Management is accredited by AACSB International, the world’s largest business education association, connecting business schools, businesses and learners, to create the next generation of great leaders.

As well as this, the School also has strong links with the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute, the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

The programme is also accredited by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), and provides exemption from several ACCA fundamental exams.

We work in collaboration with the Certificate in Quantitative Finance (CQF) Institute, giving you free membership and access to their monthly newsletter, along with the latest CQF Institute resources, including events, research, career tools, workshops and thought leadership content.

Your Accounting and Finance Experience

This programme thoroughly prepares you for a number of professional roles. This is done by integrating theory and practice through:
