We require a UK bachelor's degree with a First or Upper Second classification or the overseas equivalent, in any discipline.

Course content
Based in one of the UK’s strongest centres for the subject, the European Politics & Policy master’s studies the governance and policies of the European Union, and the impact on the domestic politics of member states, candidate countries and neighbours.
We build on a strong comparative perspective while developing your qualitative and quantitative skills.
Our mandatory courses combine analytical and conceptual rigour. You’ll also be able to tailor your studies to match your interests, with optional course units including, among others:
- Comparing Capitalisms in the Global Political Economy
- Democracy: Theory & Practice
- Gender in Comparative Politics
- Critical Globalisation Studies
Throughout the course, you’ll develop skills in research, critical enquiry and creative thinking, preparing you for a stimulating and worthwhile career.
