Entry requirements

A primary dental qualification (such as a Bachelor of Dental Surgery), or its international equivalent, plus a minimum of two years' post-qualification experience.

Course content

This three-year full time (540 credits) programme will enrol nationally and internationally based general dental practitioners who are seeking to become specialist practitioners within the discipline of endodontology.

The programme will take the form of lectures and seminars along with a component of supervised clinical work. Upon completion of three years of full-time training, students will be eligible to sit the specialist exit examination (MEndo) in that discipline at the Royal College of Surgeons. The successful sitting of this examination is an integral component for General Dental Council (GDC) registration process to be entered on to the specialist list within the discipline by the GDC.
