Entry requirements

An honours degree (at least 2:2 or above) in a relevant field. Applicants who do not have a degree will need to show they have appropriate professional experience and skills to benefit from the course. We may also be able to take into account accredited prior learning (APL) or accredited prior experiential learning (APEL). If the applicants degree is in a different field they will need appropriate knowledge, skills or experience, or be able to show that they are prepared for intensive new learning. Portfolio and/or interview.

Course content

Course aims to provide an understanding of the cutting edge of product design and industrial design practice, and to develop creative and technical abilities as designers. Will be of interest to product and industrial designers and design professionals working in related fields, those concerned with design management and production, ecology and sustainability and global production networks.

Information for international students

If English is not the first language, a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 or equivalent is required.
