Course content

This programme centres on advanced level economics and econometrics, engaging with the cutting edge of research in the discipline. The programme offers unrivalled coverage of the competing perspectives in economics, inclusive of heterodox perspectives, giving unique insight into the pressing economic issues of our times, whether concerning the microeconomics of firms and markets, or the macroeconomics of the global economy.

Former economics students have gone on to highly successful careers as government advisers, think-tank researchers and quantitative analysts. The programme also offers excellent opportunities for further study at PhD level.
